5.1. Marketing
5.1.1. 5.2. Insurance mediation activity
5.2.1. The Firm is not authorised by the Financial Services Authority (FCA). However, we are included on the Register maintained by the Financial Services Authority (FCA) so that we can carry on insurance mediation activity in the UK, which is broadly the advising on, selling and administration of insurance contracts. This part of our business, including arrangements for complaints or redress if something goes wrong, is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. 5.3. Investment transactions
5.3.1. The Firm is not authorised under the Financial Services Act 2012 but we are able in certain circumstances to offer a limited range of investment services to clients because we are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. Careers and Recruitment
11.6 If you apply for a job or work placement you may need to provide information about your education, employment, background and state of health. Your application will constitute your express permission to our use of this information to assess your application and to allow us to carry out both recruitment analytics and any monitoring activities which may be required of us under applicable law as an employer.
11.6.1 We may also carry out screening checks (including reference, background, directorship, financial probity, identity, eligibility to work, vocational suitability and criminal and regulatory record checks) and consider you for other positions. We may exchange your personal information with academic institutions, recruiters, screening check providers, health service providers, professional and trade associations, law enforcement agencies, recruitment providers, referees and your current and previous employers.
