Its that time of the year and we are very proud to be part of the
This Friday (19th May) the 4th DSH Awards will be held at KCOM Stadium with a packed crowd of 381 people all their to celebrate the achievements of sports people in our area.
This year they will make history as they become the largest disability awards event in the region and both BBC Look North and Hull Daily Mail will be on hand to cover the evening.
The night is always full of laughter, merriment and fun with the main focus being to honour and celebrate disability sports in our area as well as raising awareness and of course money to keep the sports running
Daryl Jones Charity Manager said
“In 2017, we have seen over 50 disabled people forced to give up sport because of lack of funding in the Hull and Humber area. DSH, to date, have supported over 300 disabled people to remain in sport but we need your support to keep them in sport.”
On the evening itself they are looking to raise £15,000.00 with a raffle and auction but you can also help by donating here
We will be Tweeting on the night using the hashtag #DSHawards
We are very much looking forward to another fantastic evening
