Our Charity of 2019 update
As you are all aware our charity of 2019 is Motor Neurone Disease Association Scarborough & Bridlington Group and throughout 2019 we are raising money and awareness for this fantastic charity. We are going to take this opportunity to update you on what we have done so far, what we have planned and how you can help.
Saturday 4th May –
We held our Tour De King Street event, the weather was horrendous and this really impacted on our event. Rain, hail, snow and gale force winds all hit us in the 9 hours but we did manage to raise £280.29
We auctioned Hull KR signed merchandise
January – on going
Mighty Lancer Games raised £179.13 with Demiss a pot dragon painted by their young daughter. They have also auctioned merchandise and continue to raise money for the group.
Sunday 4th August – Caroline and Paul took part in the York 10k and raised an impressive £841.50.
Tuesday 13th August – We held our Meet and Greet in which members of the public had the opportunity to meet the volunteers from MNDa Scarborough & Bridlington group and find out more about MND and the work they do as well as a cake stall, refreshments and tombola to raise funds our friends at Mighty Lancer Games also put us in touch with Pikachu who came down for photos. We raised £497.40
But we are not stopping there we still have our Pet Calendar Competition which is currently coming up to the finals and our Just Giving page is still very much active where you can learn more about our chosen charity for 2019 and also donate to this great cause.
