The Rotary Club of Bridlington is holding its 7th annual “Festival of Christmas Trees”.
Murray Hills Solicitors have a tree again in this, the 7th Bridlington Christmas Tree Festival. Get into the Christmas spirit with this heart warming display of trees and festive music all in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research and local Rotary charities.
The festival takes place at St john’s Burlington Methodist Church, St John’s Street Bridlington on Friday 6th Dec- Sunday 8th and Friday 13th Dec – Sunday 15th December in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research and local Rotary charities.
There will be around 60 decorated and illuminated trees donated by various churches, schools, charities and businesses including our very own Murray Hills Christmas tree (2018’s shown here).
Throughout the weekends there will also be music provided by local schools and community choirs.
Admission to the Festival of Christmas Trees is free but there are buckets around the building in aid of Yorkshire Cancer Research and local Rotary charities.
The church and adjoining rooms will be open for viewing the trees on both Fridays and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm and on both Sundays between 12 noon and 4pm and refreshments and light meals are also available to purchase.
On Friday 6th December there is an additional treat of a Gala Concert with Weighton Waytes Choir and Hilderthorpe Primary School Choir, tickets to this event are £5 (children are free) and can be obtained from any member of Bridlington Rotary Club.
We hope that you will visit the church over the weekends and would love to see any pictures of the trees, including ours, on our social media sites.
